The program focuses on power skating skills from the CanPower and CanSkate programs. It is a great compliment to your hockey and ringette players' practise schedule. Skaters will be grouped together to ensure sport specific skills are the focus.

Skaters will participate in full hockey or ringette gear, with helmet and hockey stick required

          Group A: 6:30-7:15 pm

           Group B: 7:15-8:00 pm

Get ready for your season this fall with this action-packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance. Skills, techniques and conditioning drills are taught in a progressive format that emphasizes how the skills apply to game situations.

Rising StarSkate

W, F 4:15-5:45 pm

Our program teaches figure skating skills in a group and in a private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system.

CanSkate

CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on Sport Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity.

       (Oct 21 - Mar 15)

Offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. Our program teaches figure skating skills in a group and in a private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system. and our off-ice training option offers field trip opportunities that explores unique strength training.
