Volunteer Opportunties
Executive Positions
Over the years, we have had many different club and community members offer their time and skills to ensure that the club is able to provide quality programs and host fun events for all skaters. Volunteers have been the heartbeat of our club and for that we are immensely thankful for all the help and support that they provide.If you are interested in joining our club executive team, let us know! We are always looking for new members to help grow our club.
President - This person is responsible for all club activities. They call and preside over all meetings and oversee all sub committees of the club. Our president also handles all public relations, booking ice times and hiring of coaches.
Vice-President - This person is responsible for multiple tasks that assist and coordinate with presidential duties.
Treasurer - This person is responsible for all financial tasks. They would make sure we are registered and in good standing with Skate Canada, as well as oversee all club registrations and member accounts. Treasurer would be expected to report financials at executive meetings.
Secretary - This person records and distributes all meeting minutes, applies for grants, sanctions and oversees promotion/advertising of club. They would also maintain our club bulletin board.
Director - This person prepares and distributes sponsorship letters and updates our sponsors on our rink sign and website. They also prepare and update registration forms and work with coaches in selecting and distributing year-end trophies and awards.
Website and Communications - This person(s) is responsible for the upkeep of our website and Facebook page.
Members at Large - These members help in multiple areas of the club and tend to be our social coordinators.
Throughout our skating season many different events constitute the need for sub-committees. These sub-committees are organized at the beginning of the year or as we approach certain events.
